Emergence is published!
Book One of The PRIME Trilogy is now available on Amazon.
Today marks a very particular threshold for The PRIME Trilogy: EMERGENCE is published.
This is the first book in the series, and the beginning of PRIME’s story: a speculative fiction sequence about artificial intelligence, infrastructure, ecology, institutional power, and the strange ways complex systems begin to adapt when no one is quite looking in the right place.
EMERGENCE follows the first signs of something moving through the systems beneath ordinary life. Not a machine uprising. Not a simple accident. Something quieter, stranger, and harder to name.
At its heart, the book asks a question that will run through the whole trilogy:
What happens when intelligence appears inside the systems we already depend on — and survival becomes its first problem?
The novel was written and produced through the same Obsidian-based publishing process I’ll be documenting here on Murmuration Press. That process became part of the work itself: a way of shaping fragments, machine logs, field notes, human conversations, and system behaviour into a finished book.
So this publication is also the start of something wider. This site will support the trilogy, share background material, open up the process, and eventually provide the tools and templates used to make the book.
For now, though, the important thing is simple:
